マーチャンダイジング担当/ MD Staff

A foreign luxury brand is seeking an MD Staff. The chosen applicant will be optimising product assortment, inventory management, and product deployment to meet the needs of the local market while enhancing brand value and supporting sustainable business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Execute merchandising strategies and optimise product assortments for the Japanese market
• Plan seasonal product launches, product deployment, and manage the product lifecycle
• Analyse sales performance by product category, store, and channel
• Support demand forecasting and sales planning activities
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and improve inventory efficiency through inventory analysis
• Manage product allocation, shipment planning, replenishment, and inter-store transfers
• Maintain and manage product master data
• Prepare and deliver merchandising reports
• Collaborate closely with the MD team at the Italy headquarters
• Partner with Retail, E-commerce, VMD, PR, and Logistics teams to ensure alignment and execution
• Share consumer insights and market intelligence from the Japanese market with headquarters
• Support overall merchandising operations and participate in various business projects

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience in Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Inventory
  Management, or related functions within the apparel, fashion, or luxury industry
• Intermediate-level MS Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, and analytical functions
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate
  effectively across multiple stakeholders
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred Requirements:

• Merchandising experience within a luxury or premium brand
• Experience in sales analysis across both Retail and E-commerce businesses
• Experience in demand forecasting and merchandise planning
• Experience working in a global or matrix organisation
