Head of Marketing

A multinational biotechnology company is looking for a Head of Marketing, IDD Japan. The selected candidate will lead downstream marketing strategies, drive product adoption, and oversee marketing operations for infectious disease diagnostics products.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth
• Collaborate with sales teams to create go-to-market plans, sales tools, and promotional materials
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends and growth opportunities
• Manage and optimise marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, email marketing, webinars, and events
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and industry influencers
• Oversee product launches, including launch plans, training materials, and coordination of activities
• Monitor and analyse marketing performance, providing insights and reports to stakeholders
• Handle the marketing budget and ensure effective resource allocation for maximum ROI

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of experience as product marketing representative or product marketing manager
• More than 2 years of experience in management in sales or marketing organisation
• Experience in business intelligence or marketing analysis
• Understanding of the health market environment, laws, and regulations
• Prior experience in a matrix-based global setting
• Proven experience in business or channel development in the clinical sector is ideal
• Native level Japanese; business level English
