一般診療領域MSLマネージャ/ General Medicine MSL Manager

A foreign pharmaceutical company is looking for a General Medicine Medical Science Liaison Manager. The chosen applicant will build scientific relationships with KOLs and provide medical and scientific support to Medical Affairs activities.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with KOLs proactively and reactively to disseminate, clarify, and educate on scientific data, study protocols, meeting abstracts, and professional literature in alignment with local regulations
• Respond to medical and scientific queries from Medical Societies regarding BSP products and organise, support, and participate in Advisory Boards
• Network with KOLs at congresses and conventions, establish new contacts, and gather competitive intelligence
• Plan and organise scientific training and education events and sessions with KOLs within the relevant therapeutic area or product
• Prepare timely reports on field and event activities and track activities against agreed objectives
• Collect Investigator Sponsored Study ideas and facilitate study set-up by acting as a point of contact for investigators and coordinating with appropriate BSP personnel
• Identify, profile, and segment KOLs and contribute to engagement planning in alignment with the product Medical Affairs plan
• Contribute to internal understanding of KOL interests, expertise, and impact within the medical community
• Assist Medical Advisors and Market Access teams with presentations of new information to hospital formularies and reimbursement decision makers as required
• Provide internal scientific support for training activities and respond to scientific and medical queries from Sales Representatives in conjunction with Medical Advisors
• Support local clinical operations personnel and Medical Advisors with Investigator Sponsored Study project tracking as required

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in natural sciences, pharmacology, or medicine (Master’s or above is desirable)
• More than 3 years of experience in a Medical Affairs role (MSL, Scientific Expert, Medical Advisor, or similar)
• Experience within General Medicine therapeutic areas such as cardiovascular, renal, metabolic, diabetes, or related disease areas
• Experience participating in scientific congresses, advisory boards, and medical education programs
• Academic/scientific writing experience either through educational background or job experience
• Experience supporting product launches, indication expansions, or post-launch medical activities
• Strong understanding of clinical trial design, interpretation of clinical data, and evidence generation
• Experience using insights gathered from external experts to support medical strategy development
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English (TOEIC 730+)
  

Preferred Requirements:

• Solid experience in MSL/MA roles in GM
