メディカルサイエンスリエゾン/ Medical Science Liaison

A global pharmaceutical group is looking for a Medical Science Liaison. The selected candidate will build scientific partnerships, provide medical insights, support clinical research and deliver high-quality scientific engagement programmes.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with scientific experts and study groups
• Discuss scientific value, clinical outcomes and patient benefits with experts and opinion leaders
• Develop external expert engagement plans with Medical and internal teams
• Provide field insights and contribute to medical and brand strategies in line with regulations
• Identify research opportunities and support investigator sponsored studies and clinical trials
• Support international and regional congresses and society engagement
• Deliver medical and scientific educational programmes and manage related events
• Support local clinical trial operations with cross-functional teams
• Collaborate with medical organisations and alliance partners to maximise joint opportunities
• Participate in local advisory boards, investigator meetings and expert panels

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in life science or a related domain
• More than 2 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in medical department or clinical development or a related area
• Understanding of osteoporosis, orthopedics, other metabolic bone diseases
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Advanced degree (Master, PhD, MD or PharmD)
• Experience in orthopaedics at a medical device company
• Prior experience in medical / scientific study management or conduct
• Understanding of pharmaceutical product development, product lifecycle and commercialisation process
• Knowledge of clinical operations, commercial, regulatory, and medical affairs
• Familiarity with clinical research and messaging (study design, study evaluation, medical writing skills, expert panel conduct, symposium and workshop management, KOL management)
