調達・サプライヤー開発シニアマネージャー/ Sr. Procurement and Supplier Dev Manager

A global cloud computing services company is looking for a Senior Procurement and Supplier Development Manager. The selected candidate will lead sourcing, supplier management, cost optimisation, and procurement strategy across assigned categories in Japan.

Responsibilities:

• Manage sourcing activities across assigned categories
• Coordinate procurement requirements with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with category teams to support delivery
• Drive cost savings through bidding and negotiation
• Analyse data to support procurement strategies
• Identify customer needs and market trends
• Lead supplier selection and development strategies
• Assess supplier capabilities and market conditions
• Track supplier performance across key areas
• Develop supplier performance scorecards
• Lead business reviews with suppliers
• Improve procurement processes and tools
• Support contract management activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in supply chain, business, engineering, or relevant discipline
• More than 6 years of experience in program, project or product management, or leading product implementation
• More than 6 years of related industry experience
• More than 8 years of data analysis using tools (MS Excel, Pivot Tables, SQL, Tableau, or equivalent)
• More than 8 years of experience in high volume manufacturing operations or sourcing environments
  experience
• Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies
• Prior experience in global supply chain management, managing cross-functional teams in a fast-paced consumer electronics product company
• Proven program, project or product management, or leading product implementation experience
• Professional level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Master's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, or a relevant domain
• Experience in data centers, infrastructure service providers, or related technology companies
• Prior experience in negotiations with global suppliers with a proven track record in cost reduction
• Proven experience in procurement practices working with engineering, supply chain and Tier 1 OEM partners
• Previous experience practicing best-in-class procurement processes (category management, benchmarking, should-cost models, RFX, reverse auction, contracting, or equivalent)
