ロジスティクスプロフェッショナル/ Logistics Professional

A global medical device company is seeking a Logistics Professional to oversee third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse operations, inventory management and distribution while ensuring regulatory compliance, improving operational performance and supporting product lifecycle activities.

Responsibilities:

• Manage 3PL warehouse and distribution operations, including inbound, storage, inventory and outbound activities
• Monitor warehouse performance, resolve operational issues and implement corrective actions
• Manage inventory accuracy, monitor stock risks and coordinate inventory optimisation with regional and global Supply Chain teams
• Support product launches, product changes, field actions and product discontinuations
• Ensure medical device logistics compliance, including proper handling, storage, transportation, documentation and traceability
• Support audits, inspections, investigations, CAPA and quality improvement activities
• Manage logistics service providers, review KPIs, monitor service levels and coordinate contracts and operational changes
• Drive warehouse process standardisation, operational efficiency and logistics performance improvements
• Support ERP, WMS and logistics system enhancements, as well as local, regional and global Supply Chain projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in a science, engineering or related technical field
• More than 5 years of experience in the medical device industry
• Experience managing 3PL providers and outsourced warehouse operations
• Experience in inventory management, warehouse operations and distribution processes
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Professional level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Eligibility for appointment as a Responsible Technician for medical device manufacturing operations in Japan
• Experience supporting audits, inspections, CAPA and quality investigations
• Experience with WMS, automation or warehouse process improvement initiatives
• Project management experience in logistics or supply chain functions
