マーケットクオリティエンジニア/ Market Quality Engineer

An international automotive technology company is looking for a Market Quality Engineer. The selected candidate will act as a customer contact for market quality, analyse quality issues, identify root causes, coordinate problem-solving with R&D and manufacturing teams, and support global key account activities.

Responsibilities:

• Obtain precise quality information in cooperation with manufacturing and R&D teams
• Recognise how products are used through customer evaluations and market information to sustain and improve customer satisfaction
• Analyse suspected faulty units using FTA and other quality tools to identify root causes and implement countermeasures
• Cooperate with R&D and manufacturing teams to conduct analysis and resolve problems quickly
• Analyse market claims and assess their applicability
• Support local sites as part of the global quality team, mainly across China and Thailand
• Communicate with customers regarding quality analysis and issues
• Collaborate with Programme Management, R&D, Production Planning, and other teams to resolve quality issues
• Gather and analyse information to support quality improvement
• Create 8D reports for quality issues
• Apply logical thinking and problem-solving skills to market quality issues
• Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders in Japanese and English
• Adapt to a global working environment and diverse teams
• Take ownership of quality issues and work proactively and collaboratively
• Demonstrate autonomy, accountability, and an entrepreneurial approach to quality activities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 2 years of experience in quality within an automotive Tier-1 supplier
• More than 3 years of experience working as a customer interface
• Extensive knowledge of semiconductors, electronic components, module components, and related technologies and industry trends
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, information-gathering, and communication skills
• Experience creating 8D reports
• Fluent level Japanese (JLPT N1); business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience using CANalyzer or CANape for analysis
• Knowledge of ISO and IATF
