オペレーショナルエクセレンスマネージャー/ Operational Excellence Manager

A global manufacturing company is looking for an Operational Excellence Manager. The selected candidate will drive continuous improvement, performance management, capability building and operational excellence initiatives across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the site’s Operational Excellence strategy
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping initiatives
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive waste elimination and process standardisation
• Establish and monitor operational KPIs and report performance to leadership
• Analyse operational data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Coach employees and leaders on Lean principles and problem-solving methodologies
• Deliver training programmes on Lean, Six Sigma and Operational Excellence tools
• Lead cross-functional improvement projects and ensure measurable business impact
• Monitor project timelines, risks and resource allocation
• Establish standard work and operational procedures across the site
• Conduct audits to ensure compliance with Operational Excellence standards
• Support global manufacturing excellence programmes and benchmark best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, operations management, supply chain, industrial engineering, or relevant domain (Master's degree is a plus)
• More than 7 years of manufacturing or operations experience
• More than 3 years of experience leading continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma deployment
• Prior experience as management overseas in Japanese company
• Background in delivering operational performance improvements
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience under non-Japanese in multinational company in Japan
• Possess valid Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
• Possess valid PMP certification
