コントロールタワースペシャリスト/ Control Tower Specialist

An international freight forwarding company is seeking a Control Tower Specialist. The selected candidate will coordinate shipments, monitor transportation, manage documentation and data, support customers and overseas offices, and ensure accurate and compliant logistics operations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage ocean export operations
• Provide timely and accurate information and support to customers and overseas offices
• Monitor and track shipments, communicate status updates, and handle customer inquiries
• Coordinate bookings and shipments with shipping lines, warehouses, overseas offices, and internal teams
• Perform accurate data entry, KPI tracking, and reporting
• Manage operations using the customer’s SAP system
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and quality standards
• Prepare invoices and related documentation
• Obtain preferential certificates of origin and maintain related records
• Build strong customer relationships and support customer satisfaction initiatives
• Perform other duties as required to meet customer and business needs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• Knowledge of international logistics and freight forwarding operations
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to follow established procedures and company policies while managing daily operations
• Basic data management and reporting skills using Excel
• Candidates without prior ocean export experience are welcome to apply, with training and on-the-job support provided
• Business level English (TOEIC 600+); professional level Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in Ocean Freight
