Japan Commercial Head

A global manufacturing company is looking for a Japan Commercial Head. The selected candidate will lead commercial strategy, trade marketing, revenue growth management, demand planning, and channel development to drive sustainable and profitable business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute localised commercial strategies aligned with global objectives
• Lead trade marketing initiatives, category management, and retail execution programs
• Drive pricing, promotional, and trade investment strategies to maximise profitability
• Oversee demand planning, forecasting, and integrated business planning processes
• Define channel strategies and identify new growth opportunities and partnerships
• Establish governance frameworks and monitor commercial performance metrics
• Build and lead a high-performing commercial organisation and develop team capabilities

Requirements:

• 10–15 years of experience in FMCG / consumer goods leadership across commercial excellence, RGM, and trade marketing
• Background owning pricing, promotion and trade investment decisions with measurable impact on growth and margin
• Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders in matrix environments
• Knowledge of Japan retail landscape and shopper behavior
• Business level English (TOEIC 850+)
