試運転エンジニア/ Commissioning Engineer

A renowned energy company is looking for a Commissioning Engineer. The selected candidate will lead commissioning and testing activities, provide technical support, and contribute to power grid integration projects. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Execute on-site commissioning and testing activities for power grid integration projects
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, repair, and testing services both remotely and on-site
• Coordinate with factory engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery
• Support operation and maintenance business development through technical expertise
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulations, and industry standards
• Promote a culture of safety, integrity, and accountability

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 3 years experiences of testing or commissioning of high voltage substation
• Experience in business communication with domestic and overseas suppliers
• Knowledge of the power grid industry, system configurations, and substation equipment
• Understanding of operation and maintenance activities for power infrastructure
• Ability to interpret technical documentation, engineering drawings, and schematics
• Proficient in JEC, JEM, and electrical equipment technical standards
• Native level reading, spoken, and written Japanese; proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of IEC standard
• Possess valid Japanese certificate and license relevant to electrical activities
