積算士/ Quantity Surveyor
A global consultancy services company is looking for a Quantity Surveyor. The chosen applicant will be responsible for supporting cost estimation, cost control, commercial management, and contract administration throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the client and construction professionals, including site managers, project managers, and site engineers
- Develop reports with detailed supporting information to communicate project cost status, risks, and commercial issues
- Provide weekly and monthly summaries of activities, forecasts, completed work, major findings, schedule risks, and major activities
- Prepare cost estimates throughout the entire project cycle, applying appropriate detail levels and WBS
- Measure and value work completed on site when required
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager to prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities, and other documentation
- Analyse and agree contract sums and negotiate costs to ensure prices are fair, reasonable, aligned with market rates, and within the project budget
- Work closely with the Cost Engineer to identify opportunities to reduce costs
- Lead or assist the Commercial Manager in assessing additional costs from design changes and construction work, including variations
- Work closely with the Commercial Manager and Cost Engineer to identify and assess project risks
- Price and forecast project costs throughout the entire project lifecycle, from inception to post-completion
- Forecast capital and expense budgets, including asset capitalisation
- Prepare project cash flow plans and track monthly and quarterly variations between planned and actual costs
- Work closely with the project scheduler, Commercial Manager, and Finance team on project cost management
- Monitor and analyse invoices to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions
- Work with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, and Commercial Manager on invoice and cost matters
- Work closely with the project controls team to assess additional costs from design changes and construction work, including variations
- Advise the project team on current forecasts against budget to identify project risks and opportunities
- Prepare final accounts to close project activities and accounts in accordance with contractual obligations
- Support commercial management throughout the entire project lifecycle from inception to post-completion
- Advise and assist with the formulation of tendering procedures during the pre-programming phase
- Lead supplier sourcing and competitive bidding based on knowledge of the local market
- Collaborate with clients to develop implementation plans, including timing, resources, and program management to achieve identified savings
- Produce or assist with pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ) documentation in line with client policies
- Prepare tender documents, contract conditions, contractual correspondence, pricing documents, and Bills of Quantities
- Procure or agree services of contractors and subcontractors for construction projects
- Identify long-lead materials and source them accordingly to mitigate project schedule impacts
- Negotiate contract costs, terms, and conditions in line with project requirements
- Prepare recommendations, analysis, and comparisons of packages, including the best and final process
- Support general commercial administration, including purchase orders, invoicing, and change orders
Requirements:
- Proficient in MS Excel
- Proficient in Outlook
- Strong communication skills
