FP&Aアナリスト/ FP&A Analyst

A multinational fashion brand is looking for an FP&A Analyst. The chosen applicant will be in charge of driving financial planning, analysis, and reporting across Travel Retail, purchasing plans, and local-market SG&A. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end financial management and performance analysis for the Travel Retail business, covering sales, operating expenses, and overall profitability. Ensure timely identification and communication of key performance drivers, risks, and opportunities
• Partner closely with Travel Retail business stakeholders to provide actionable financial insights and recommendations, supporting informed decision-making and the execution of agreed business actions
• Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the current purchase planning process, identifying gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities, and propose a target operating model aligned with business needs and financial objectives
• Partner closely with Commercial, Supply Chain, and relevant business stakeholders to ensure purchase plans are realistic, actionable, and aligned with demand forecasts and financial targets
• Lead the planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actual-versus-budget management of Local Market SG&A expenses, ensuring appropriate cost control and alignment with business priorities
• Establish and maintain reliable SG&A expense data, including data definitions, reporting structures, and supporting documentation, to improve data accuracy, consistency, and accessibility
• Prepare monthly business reports and ad hoc analyses as requested by the CFO, FP&A Director, and Manager
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses on strategic initiatives, including case studies and scenario-based simulations to support margin negotiations with trade accounts, evaluate ROI for new store investment projects, analyse store-level profitability, and identify associated risks and opportunities

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 3 years of work experience at multinational companies or professional firms
• Knowledge and skills in accounting, financial planning, Internal control and project management
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and software skills (BI, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• CPA qualification
