FP&Aマネージャー/ FP&A Manager

An international medical technology company is looking for an FP&A Manager. The selected candidate will lead the Japan FP&A team, support business decision-making, manage budgets and forecasts, provide financial insights, and partner with regional and global finance teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead FP&A activities in Japan and support the development of team members and future talent
• Lead the team in providing financial analysis and decision support to the business
• Co-lead resource budgeting with business teams, including investment and FTE planning, ROI analysis, and forecast updates
• Provide actionable financial analysis and insights to Marketing and Sales teams to support business performance
• Analyse complex business problems, data, and trends and develop strategic insights and short- and long-range financial models
• Support enabling functions and CMO planning and strategy in collaboration with the global finance team
• Develop models and dashboards to track new product launches, sales activity impact, and budget versus actual performance
• Investigate and resolve operational issues with cross-functional teams
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to identify best practices and improve country performance
• Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning with the Asia regional office and US headquarters
• Use financial analysis to validate business assumptions and provide monthly management reporting on Japan financial performance
• Develop financial analyses to provide business insights
• Review and approve pre-purchase requests

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
• More than 5 years of experience in FP&A or a related role in multinational companies
• Proficiency in financial statement analysis and financial modelling, including advanced MS Excel and data analysis skills
• Strong communication and business partnering skills with the ability to provide insights and influence business partners
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Possess a valid US CPA or MBA qualification
• Experience with Tableau, Snowflake, and SQL coding
