ファイナンスマネージャー/ Finance Manager

A global manufacturing company is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting, budgeting, financial planning and analysis, reporting, treasury, risk management, compliance, team management, and business partnership activities.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
• Develop and manage the organisation's budget and monitor financial performance through monthly variance analysis
• Develop and implement financial plans and analysis to support business decisions
• Prepare and analyse financial statements, reports, and presentations
• Oversee cash flow and liquidity and consider dividend optimisation based on realistic cash flow forecasts
• Evaluate and improve financial management systems and processes
• Identify and evaluate financial risks and develop mitigation plans
• Maintain control over and appropriate records for company assets
• Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies and applicable laws
• Lead, motivate, and manage the local finance team
• Discuss team growth opportunities and develop training plans
• Coordinate monthly local management meetings following month-end closing

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance or accounting
• More than 10 years of experience in finance in global companies
• More than 3 years of experience in a finance management position
• Familiarity with Japan local accounting policies and applicable laws including US and local GAAP, Japanese Corporation Code, and tax laws
• Experience working with external auditors and tax consultants
• Computer literacy in word processing, spreadsheets, presentation, email applications, and business and accounting software
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working for US multinational companies
• SAP experience
