経理マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

A global pharmaceutical company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee financial accounting and reporting, strengthen accounting processes and controls, and support finance transformation and cross-functional business initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end financial close and reporting activities in compliance with US GAAP, J-GAAP, and company policies
• Prepare and analyse financial information while coordinating audit, tax, and statutory reporting activities
• Maintain effective internal controls and provide accounting guidance for business initiatives and key financial decisions
• Support SAP enhancements and S/4HANA implementation, including testing, cutover preparation, and operational readiness
• Drive accounting process standardisation, automation, digital finance initiatives, and governance improvements
• Manage accounting setup, documentation, service agreements, project accounting, and cross-functional finance projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related domain
• 7–10 years of experience with career progression in financial accounting and reporting with multinational corporations or public accounting firms
• Experience in end-to-end R2R processes (financial close and Japanese statutory accounting and reporting compliance)
• Prior experience in supporting direct and indirect tax compliance, external audit, internal control verification (e.g. SoX) and accounting policy implementation
• Proven experience with SAP ECC and SAP S/4HAN
• Possess valid Japanese Certified Public Accountant (JCPA) certification
• Business level written and spoken Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Prior deployment experience
• Possess valid US CPA or another internationally recognised accounting qualification
