ロジスティクススペシャリスト/ Logistics Specialist

A global consumer goods company is seeking a Logistics Specialist. The successful candidate will manage import and export activities, trade compliance, logistics improvement initiatives, and transportation cost optimisation. This is a hybrid setup role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage imports of products and materials from global manufacturing sites and coordinate exports to international destinations
• Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders, including negotiations
• Manage delivery schedules and investigate logistics issues
• Develop and execute transportation cost reduction initiatives
• Improve logistics efficiency, shorten lead times, and measure improvement effectiveness
• Monitor transportation costs and customs duties
• Establish and improve logistics KPIs
• Optimise transportation modes, logistics networks, and freight forwarder selection
• Participate in and lead logistics-related projects
• Ensure compliance with import/export laws, company policies, country of origin requirements, customs requirements, and export control regulations

Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in international logistics or trade
• Hands-on experience with import, export, and triangular trade
• Experience negotiating with freight forwarders and customs brokers
• Experience improving logistics costs and delivery performance
• Professional level Japanese and English (TOEIC 800+)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience with SAP
• Experience in the apparel or consumer goods industry
• Project management experience
• Possess a valid Customs Broker Licence
