セキュリティマネージャー/ Security Manager

A global medical and health assistance services company is looking for a Security Manager, Assistance, Japan. The selected candidate will provide security risk and crisis management advice, manage complex assistance cases, support operational planning and deliver security consulting and training for Japan-based clients.

Responsibilities:

• Provide security risk and crisis management advice to Japan-based clients
• Manage complex security assistance cases and coordinate with operational teams
• Maintain Japan’s security provider and secure hotel networks
• Support country and regional security escalations, crisis briefings and response plans
• Deploy as part of incident management teams and participate in the security on-call roster
• Support security information collection, analysis and localized client content
• Contribute to account management, service development and client engagement activities
• Support sales and marketing initiatives through security expertise, webinars, seminars and content
• Deliver client-specific security training, consulting and workshops
• Promote collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement across security teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in security studies, war studies, international politics, international relations or a relevant domain
• More than 10 years of experience in delivering security or emergency operations or client security assistance delivery and planning (including deployed experience in hostile and/or challenging environments in military, NGO, government or private sector roles)
• Experience in planning and managing security assistance operations
• Prior trave/on the ground experience
• Proven experience in conducting profile/client specific risk assessments
• Understanding of the security risk management best practices and principals across a diversity of risk environments
• Familiarity with the political and security landscape
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Native level Japanese; proficient in written and verbal English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in public speaking, client-facing presentation and/or media
• Prior experience in crisis management
• Proven experience in sales, client support, business development and quality management
• Previous experience in project management, consulting and training delivery
