Head of Demand & Supply Planning

A global sporting goods company is looking for a Head of Demand & Supply Planning. The selected candidate will lead end-to-end planning functions, aligning demand, supply, and inventory across Japan and Asia.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the SIOP process with sales, finance, and marketing to align commercial plans
• Lead demand planning by translating commercial input into market forecasts for Japan and Asia
• Create and adjust buy plans based on supplier capacity and financial targets
• Manage inventory levels to meet working capital goals and reduce excess stock
• Oversee supply planning for soft goods across Greater China, Southeast Asia, and Korea
• Drive new product launch execution through close coordination with logistics and production
• Develop and lead a high-performing team, promoting continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of experience in the planning area
• More than 5 years of experience in people management with 3 or more report lines
• Business level English (TOEIC 700+); fluent level Japanese
