シニアビジネスアナリスト/ Senior Business Analyst

A technology company is looking for a Senior Business Analyst. The selected applicant will lead the continuous improvement of BSS processes and systems, driving operational efficiency and alignment with business and customer needs.

Responsibilities:

• Identify systemic process bottlenecks, operational inefficiencies, functional gaps, and business logic issues affecting service delivery
• Conduct business and process-focused Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
• Lead improvement initiatives across multiple departments
• Streamline workflows and operational procedures
• Reduce manual work through process automation and AI utilisation
• Design and lead improvement projects that shorten operational cycle times
• Define, monitor, and report operational KPIs
• Analyse business and operational trends and develop data-driven insights to support decision-making
• Measure and demonstrate the value of system enhancement investments
• Serve as a primary coordinator across Business Owners, Product Management Teams, Engineering Teams, and Operations Teams
• Facilitate communication and ensure alignment on project objectives
• Assess and communicate system impacts
• Manage competing priorities and business expectations
• Develop roadmaps for operational and system improvements
• Prioritise initiatives based on business impact, revenue generation, customer experience, and employee experience
• Create process documentation and training materials
• Support deployment of new features and operational workflows
• Drive user adoption and organisational readiness
• Participate in incident post-mortem activities
• Document lessons learned and drive corrective and preventive actions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business administration, computer science, information technology, or related discipline
• More than 5 years of experience leading operational process improvement initiatives
• Experience in business analysis; requirements definition, process modelling, functional design
• Experience working within an agile environment and enterprise-scale organisations
• Experience working with Japanese clients and stakeholders
• Experience in Power BI, SQL, SAP, data visualisation tools, ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and practices
• Business level Japanese and English

Preferred Requirements:

• More than 5 years of experience in BSS Operations, order management, and billing processes
• Experience in the telecommunications industry
• Understanding of end-to-end order lifecycle
• Knowledge of customer provisioning and billing operations
