税務担当/ Tax Specialist

A renowned pharmaceutical company is seeking a Tax Specialist to manage domestic and international tax compliance, tax accounting, transfer pricing, and tax-related matters arising from organisational restructuring. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Manage domestic taxation and corporate tax compliance
• Prepare and process year-end provisions for corporate and other taxes
• Calculate and process recoverable deferred tax assets for tax effect accounting
• Respond to tax audits and coordinate with external tax advisors and audit firms
• Develop tax implementation plans and determine tax treatments for organisational restructuring
• Handle international tax matters, including BEPS analysis, subsidiary data collection, and transfer pricing management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of tax experience at a business company or major tax accountant corporation
• Experience in cross-departmental project promotion
• Prior experience solving issues while collaborating with others (business
  promotion requiring coordination and involvement with other departments or external partners)
• Proven experience in new tasks and improvement activities
• Previous experience in business promotion demonstrating initiative and leadership

Preferred requirements:

• More than 5 years of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry or related industries
• Experience in business improvement or projects utilising AI or machine learning
• Possess valid tax accountant or certified public accountant qualifications
• Business level Japanese and English
