財務マネージャー/ Finance Manager

A leading global medical device company is seeking a Finance Manager. The successful candidate will strengthen financial controls, ensure regulatory compliance and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee Japan finance operations, including month-end close, general ledger, accounts receivable and payable, cost accounting, reconciliations and financial analysis
• Review revenue estimates, commercial rebates, pricing arrangements and customer contracts to assess financial implications and identify necessary revenue adjustments
• Collaborate with Commercial, Legal and FP&A teams to ensure rebate programmes and customer agreements are practical, controlled and accurately administered
• Coordinate tax, statutory and regulatory compliance with regional teams, external advisers, auditors and authorities
• Manage audit requests, financial controls, policy compliance, statutory alignment and year-end stocktake activities
• Lead offshore finance teams supporting Japan, oversee service delivery, resolve escalations and drive process improvements while partnering with HR on employee finance enquiries

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in accounting, finance or a related domain
• 6-8 years of relevant finance, accounting or controllership experience
• Experience managing work across local, regional and offshore teams (reviewing outputs, resolving issues and improving service delivery)
• Understanding of Japan statutory, tax or payroll-related requirements
• Capability to coordinate effectively with local advisers and service providers
• Proficient in English and Japanese

Preferred requirements:

• Background in statutory reporting, tax, payroll coordination, revenue reporting, rebates or commercial finance activities
