法務シニアマネージャー/ Senior Manager, Legal

A renowned IT company is seeking a Senior Manager, Legal. The successful candidate will provide legal counsel across business functions, manage external legal advisors, and support acquisitions, investments, and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts with suppliers, vendors, consultants, customers, and other stakeholders
• Advise internal business units on legal matters, contract interpretation, corporate governance, joint ventures, and compliance
• Manage legal agreements for properties, including leases, licences, service agreements, and related documentation
• Conduct legal due diligence and negotiate transaction documents for acquisitions, disposals, investments, and strategic transactions
• Coordinate with external legal counsel, senior leadership, shareholders, and internal stakeholders throughout transactions
• Improve standard legal forms, policies, procedures, and business processes while managing external counsel effectively

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• 5-10 years of corporate law experience, including in-house experience
• Experience in transaction and document management
• Possess valid qualification to practice law in Japan, the United States, or another recognised common law jurisdiction
• Fluent level Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in the data center, real estate or infrastructure sectors
