メディカルエビデンスリード/ Medical Evidence Lead

A global biopharmaceutical research company is looking for a Medical Evidence Lead. The selected candidate will lead real-world evidence generation, overseeing study design, execution, and reporting to support medical and brand strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional study planning, project management, and operational execution throughout the study lifecycle
• Oversee external service provider selection, performance, and deliverables
• Drive methodological quality and scientific robustness of study designs and protocols
• Define analytical requirements and guide data interpretation and reporting
• Collaborate with data scientists, statisticians, medical affairs teams, and external research partners
• Ensure studies meet objectives, timelines, budgets, quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures

Requirements:

• Master's degree or above in a scientific discipline (PhD in a scientific discipline or MD is a plus)
• More than 5 years of clinical research experience
• Experience in overseeing protocol development, data management, analysis, result-interpretation, reporting and publication
• Prior experience in R&D and/or Medical function in pharmaceutical industry
• Proven experience in epidemiology, public health research, clinical research, or related evidence generation fields
• Knowledge of clinical research methods, study design, and applied methodological principles
• Native level Japanese; proficient in English (TOEIC 800+)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in CVRM or R&I area
• Prior clinical project leader/study leader experience
• Proven experience in a data science role
• background in scientific publication
