カントリーマネージャー/ Country Manager

A foreign medical technology company is looking for a Country Manager. The selected applicant will oversee sales, marketing, market intelligence, and overall operations for the Japan entity.

Responsibilities:

• Manage local sales and marketing activities
• Execute Japan-related strategies and guidelines set by the Korea Headquarters and report back to HQ
• Manage key stakeholders in Japan, including customers, distributors, agencies, partners, and KOLs
• Support participation in local conferences and exhibitions in Japan, including planning, execution, and on-site operations
• Monitor the Japanese market, including market trends and competitive landscape
• Identify and explore new business opportunities in Japan
• Lead recruitment and hiring of local employees
• Oversee the overall operations of the Japan entity as Country Manager

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 5 years of sales experience in Japan in the medical device and medical imaging fields, including CT, MRI, or PET
• Ability and willingness to reside in Japan
• Native level Japanese

Preferred Requirements:

• Academic background in life sciences, medicine, healthcare, or a related field
• Experience in overseas sales management for medical devices or healthcare products in the Japanese market, including sales planning or sales support
• Experience managing overseas sales organisations and sales channels, or experience leading an overseas subsidiary
