間接調達マネージャー/ Indirect Procurement Manager

A global consumer goods manufacturer is seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to lead site-level indirect procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimisation. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Develop site procurement strategies aligned with plant priorities and regional and global category strategies
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, approval workflows, ESG standards, and risk management requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define sourcing requirements, service levels, and contract terms
• Execute sourcing processes, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate commercial and contractual terms
• Manage supplier performance, mitigate risks, and oversee supplier transitions and contract renewals
• Guide one direct report and support procurement operations, master data, approvals, and reporting

Requirements:

• More than 7 years of procurement experience (manufacturing/site procurement is a plus)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment (multinational company is preferred)
• Prior experience reviewing and negotiating English contracts in collaboration with legal and business stakeholders
• Proven experience in clarifying business requirements with site stakeholders such as operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, EHS, and finance
• Background in Affiliate Office and plant/site indirect procurement categories (Supply Chain, Rent, Corporate Services, IT, T&E, Facility Management, Supplies/MRO, Miscellaneous, Engineering Services, Maintenance, Utilities, and Site Services)
• Native level Japanese; business level English
