EHSマネージャー/ EHS Manager

A global energy company is seeking an EHS Manager to oversee site health, safety and environmental requirements and support the safe development and operation of wind farms. The successful candidate will coordinate HSE training and safety initiatives, assess risks, conduct site audits, monitor compliance, investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee site HSE requirements to support business growth
• Support site and project managers in ensuring new wind farms meet HSE requirements
• Identify site risks and implement corrective actions with Site Managers
• Plan and coordinate HSE training for new on-site technicians
• Coordinate QM&HSE safety campaigns, workshops and training programmes
• Act as the point of contact for site HSE issues
• Report weekly to monthly on HSE status, progress and initiatives
• Participate in weekly Global Safety Meetings
• Conduct quarterly HSE site audits
• Select appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Review required certifications and licences for site activities
• Support HSE incident investigations and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation, regulations and HSE management systems
• Skills in field observation and active risk assessment
• Ability to build effective working relationships across all organisational levels, from managers to frontline workers
• Beginner level English; proficient in Japanese
