プロセス技術マネージャー/ Process Technology Manager

An international food manufacturing company specialising in chocolate and cocoa products is seeking a Process Technology Manager. The successful candidate will lead process optimisation, improve manufacturing capabilities, implement new technologies, and drive operational excellence across the production site.

Responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain global process standards, operating procedures and capability monitoring
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with safety, health, environmental and quality standards
• Provide technical support for daily manufacturing operations
• Drive standardised technology adoption, change management and capability building on the shop floor
• Support equipment commissioning and performance improvements with technical and engineering teams
• Optimise manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, product quality and process stability using SPC
• Manage new product introductions, product transfers and innovation projects in collaboration with R&D
• Identify process improvement opportunities in recipes, production steps, energy use and quality risk management
• Implement solutions to improve performance, reduce waste and rework, and increase OEE
• Develop and implement automation technologies, including robotics, AI and IoT, to improve productivity
• Use manufacturing data analytics to identify trends, improve processes and support data-driven decisions
• Ensure technologies meet quality standards and regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities for further improvements
• Maintain accurate formulation data in SAP and support SKU reduction initiatives
• Lead Process Engineers and Packaging Engineers in improving process capabilities and delivering improvements
• Collaborate with regional process excellence teams to establish standards and deploy operational excellence initiatives
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, R&D and HSE teams
• Provide technical input to regional and global projects and standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in process engineering, food science, chemical engineering, electromechanics, bioscience engineering, chemistry or physics
• Knowledge of MS Office, SAP and manufacturing applications such as scheduling systems, CMMS and MES
• Strong technical knowledge to collaborate with operations leaders, engineering teams and innovation departments
• Ability to develop process capabilities and scale processes from laboratory or pilot stages to industrial production
• Ability to use manufacturing data to generate process and business insights and support decision-making
• Fluent level Japanese; advanced level English
