A global medical device manufacturer is seeking a Manager, Applications Engineering. The successful candidate will lead technical customer support, manage applications engineering teams, and drive business development through technical expertise and customer engagement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the applications engineering team and develop strategies to improve customer satisfaction
• Understand customer technical requirements and roadmaps, translating them into solutions for internal business units
• Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with Sales teams to secure projects
• Manage technical and quality communications between customers and internal business units
• Evaluate sales opportunities, assess competitor positioning, and communicate the company's technical value proposition
• Oversee customer engagements, technical documentation, project timelines, and action items to ensure consistent delivery of customer requirements

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of technical experience in the semiconductor market
• Experience in front end semiconductor process equipment company or subsystem supplier
• Prior experience managing a technical team

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working with complex electronic devices (RF generators, plasma sources, etc.)
• Background in physics, electrical engineering, or similar engineering
• Business level English
