プロダクトマネージャー/ Product Manager

A global luxury travel retail company is seeking a Product Manager (Fashion). The successful candidate will drive sales growth, profitability, inventory optimisation and frontline sales performance.

Responsibilities:

• Develop category strategies, business plans, budgets and sales forecasts to achieve sales, profitability and margin targets
• Manage category P&L, pricing, inventory, product assortment and brand portfolios across fashion, apparel, accessories, footwear and leather goods
• Negotiate commercial terms, marketing support and promotional partnerships with existing and prospective brand suppliers
• Identify new brands, travel retail exclusives and product launch opportunities while managing seasonal promotions and markdowns
• Analyse sales, customer, passenger and inventory data to optimise category performance and identify growth opportunities
• Drive store execution, visual merchandising, brand activations and frontline sales training to enhance customer experience and sales productivity

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in business, marketing, fashion, retail management or a related domain
• 5-7 years of retail, fashion or travel retail experience
• More than 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
• Experience in category management, brand management and vendor/supplier management
• Understanding of luxury fashion, apparel, accessories, footwear, leather goods and/or related premium lifestyle categories
• Knowledge of consumer behavior and the travel retail environment
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, margin and inventory management
• Knowledge of visual merchandising, seasonal collections and luxury brand presentation standards
• Understanding of SAP
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level English and Japanese (other languages are a plus)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience developing or managing staff incentive, SPIFF or other sales motivation programs
• Prior supplier-side experience
• Proven experience coordinating retail staff training, product knowledge programs or sales capability development
