プロダクトマネージャー/ Product Manager

A renowned luxury travel retail company is seeking a Product Manager (Food, Liquor, Tobacco and Souvenir). The successful candidate will drive category sales, profitability, brand partnerships, merchandising strategies and frontline sales performance.

Responsibilities:

• Drive category sales, profitability and P&L performance, managing budgets, forecasts, margins, inventory and growth targets
• Develop business plans and analyse sales, customer, passenger and market data to identify trends and growth opportunities
• Manage brand portfolios, product assortments, pricing, supplier negotiations and new product launches
• Lead promotional campaigns, brand activations, supplier-funded marketing initiatives and staff incentive programmes
• Monitor store execution, merchandising standards, inventory health, product expiry and frontline sales KPIs
• Collaborate with regional and global stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver category objectives, ensure compliance and improve business performance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, FMCG or a relevant domain
• 5-7 years of retail, travel retail, FMCG or relevant commercial experience
• More than 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role
• Experience in category management, brand management and vendor/supplier management
• Understanding of food, liquor, tobacco, souvenir and/or FMCG categories
• Knowledge of consumer behavior and the travel retail environment
• Prior SAP knowledge
• Familiarity with merchandising, brand presentation and customer experience standards
• Ability and willingness to travel
• Fluent level English and Japanese (other languages is a plus)

Preferred requirements:

• Experience developing or managing staff incentive, SPIFF or other sales motivation programs
• Prior supplier-side experience
• Proven experience coordinating retail staff training, product knowledge programs or sales capability development
