A multinational insurance organisation is looking for a Process Planning & Improvement professional. The selected applicant will focus on planning and improvement within the supply chain department.
Responsibilities:
Understand the current ongoing processes and systems within the organisation
Analyse production data and interpret results to direct improvement initiatives
Establish plans for substantial improvements, ensuring alignment with relevant teams and obtaining necessary approvals
Monitor the effectiveness of implemented improvements, assessing whether they meet initial objectives
Ensure all processes adhere to company policies as well as regulatory and compliance requirements
Coordinate with various internal teams to address line impacting component escalations and determine alternate source components
Design process facility layouts to maximise throughput, yields, and quality
Build and maintain cooperative relationships with colleagues, other teams, and internal/external stakeholders
Requirements:
5-7 years of experience in warehouse operation and logistics
Practical experience as warehouse assistant manager level
Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases
Experience in negotiating with suppliers and sourcing new suppliers
Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices
Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators
Prior BPR (Business Process Reengineering) experience is a plus
Ability to implement process improvement initiatives (Six Sigma, Kaizen)
Proficient in Japanese and English
