A multinational educational institution is looking for a Finance Manager. The selected applicant will handle budgeting, reporting, and forecasting to ensure the organisation's fiscal health and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
Implement, maintain, and periodically review the organisation's financial procedures manual
Lead the Finance Office team, supervising junior colleagues' work and overseeing their performance evaluation process
Manage the working schedule of the Finance Office team, anticipating peak workload moments and adjusting task allocation accordingly
Support the Director of Finance & Operations in meetings and events requiring representation from the Finance Office
Develop the payroll budget annually and administer the payroll process
Act as the primary point of contact with banks, investment brokers, and other financial services organisations
Perform year-end closing activities in preparation for the annual financial statements audit
Coordinate the organisation's annual financial statements audit
Requirements:
Practical experience working within and across teams
Familiarity with MS Office Suite, Google Office Suite, and other similar software products
Strong project management skills
Possess a valid authorisation to work in Japan
Possess a valid Nissho Bokki level 2+ or CPA
Bilingual level English and Japanese
