Responsibilities:
Serve as an HR operational business partner to shape and implement all HR aspects to support Japan business strategy
Guide Japan management team providing effective guidance
Assess and align Japan talent with the business direction
Refine and align recruitment process and programme
Implement corporate-aligned goals setting, performance management, and compensation programmes
Lead talent reviews and implement succession planning, talent development plans
Coordinate employee resolutions with appropriate leadership
Handle administrative procedures regarding benefit program, medical and social insurance, work-related injuries, attendance/leave, and personal information
Maintain updated and timely Japan employee data in corporate HR system (HCM)
Ensure HR compliance and corporate governance
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree or above in management, psychology, sociology, or related discipline
5-8 years of experience in a HR business partner role for Japan
Prior work experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industry is ideal
Demonstrated thought-partner / advisor to GM, North Asia, and Japan management team
Proficient in usage mobile devises and strong computer program skills (MS Office Suite)
Fluent level Japanese; conversational level verbal and written
