Responsibilities:
Generate leads and foster existing relationships to cultivate an active customer base
Pursue strategies to enhance account value through identifying cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
Represent the company with a comprehensive understanding of offerings
Pitch offerings and formulate proposals for existing and potential customers
Negotiate and structure contracts for offers
Utilise Salesforce CRM to ensure standardised processes throughout all sales stages
Provide account management to ensure an outstanding customer experience and foster high engagement
Contribute to the development of new products and enhancements to existing offerings
Offer support to the research and publications team in developing long-term market outlook and analysis
Requirements:
More than 3 years of experience in business development, account management, or client success (energy sector is ideal)
Prior experience in selling research or some form of subscription service is a plus
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM system is preferred
Background in energy economics, power markets, and power networks is desired
Interest about energy transition
Fluent level Japanese and English
