Winner - International Recruitment Company of the Year 2016

The bilingual specialist recruitment consultancy Robert Walters Japan was named “The International Recruitment Company of the Year” as one of  a total of 3 “Company of the Year” awards at the Recruitment International Asia Awards 2016. These awards are presented to the top recruitment companies in each category. Organised by Recruitment International, the specialist media provider for the human resources sector headquartered in the United Kingdom, the inaugural award event was held in Japan on 30 September 2016, at the Tokyo American Club in Minato-ku, Tokyo.

In addition to being awarded “International Recruitment Company of the Year”, the highest award given by organizations supporting international recruitment activities, the activities of the industrial division were commended with the “Industrial Recruitment Company of the Year” award, and the back office teams supporting the recruitment process were also recognized, receiving the “Best Back Office Team of the Year” award.

Robert Walters Japan’s Industrial recruitment division, the recipients of the “Industrial Recruitment Company of the Year” award, has grown from four teams specialising in Automotive, Chemical, and Energy & Industrial recruitment in addition to teams covering all aspects of manufacturing and is now composed of consultants from twelve different nationalities. The rapidly growing division has increased its billing by 200% over the past three years.  

The Marketing team, recipients of the “Best Back Office Team of the Year” award, in addition to providing important decision making support and business strategies, have engaged in all kinds of advertising and public relations marketing activity in order to support Robert Walters Japan’s goal of providing the best match for job seekers and employers.

Recruitment International Asia Awards 2016
The specialist media provider, Recruitment International, disseminates information about the human resources sector worldwide. Once a year, it organises the Recruitment International Asia Awards in key Asian countries. This year, the event was held in Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan; and experts in the human resources sector in each of these countries selected the winners for the year. This was the first time that the event was held in Japan.
