インベントリコントロール/ Inventory Control
A world-renowned luxury brand is looking for an Inventory Control professional. The selected candidate will optimise distribution and inventory operations, manage stock replenishment and client orders, analyse supply chain data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve overall efficiency. This is a hybrid setup role.
Responsibilities:
- Define stock targets for stores and ensure alignment with sales potential and stock situations
- Secure smooth store replenishment and update distribution parameters when required
- Anticipate seasonal demand peaks and build stock accordingly
- Provide visibility to Merchandising and Retail teams to support launch strategies for new products
- Set up distribution for new stores and organise stock support for openings, renovations, and events
- Optimise stock levels across the network and ensure stock value growth remains below sales growth
- Ensure timely stock rebalancing and management of out-of-offer products
- Monitor and improve key inventory KPIs including overstock and product availability
- Maintain product status in the Order Management System
- Fulfil client orders through stock support, rebalancing, or escalation to central teams
- Communicate closely with stores and provide visibility on order fulfilment
- Monitor rejection rates and conversion rates
- Collaborate with Logistics, Warehouse, Merchandising, Retail, and Central teams on supply chain strategies and initiatives
- Provide relevant information tailored to different stakeholders
- Partner with the global supply chain community
- Participate in global supply chain projects and represent Japan’s interests
- Challenge existing processes, tools, and organisational practices to improve supply chain efficiency
- Understand and adapt to supply chain systems and tools
Requirements:
- Experience in supply chain management and/or retail fulfilment operations
- Solid proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to prioritise and work efficiently under pressure while delivering high-quality work within tight deadlines
- Fluent level Japanese; professional level English
Preferred requirements:
- Experience with Power BI or equivalent programming skills such as VBA or SQL
- Experience with SAP
