A global pharmaceutical company is seeking a Pharma Sales professional. The selected candidate will manage key accounts, achieve sales targets, identify new business opportunities, lead customer negotiations, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturers.'/

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales within the assigned market segment
  • Deliver sales and variable margin targets for Japan
  • Lead and coordinate customer interactions
  • Lead negotiation processes from initial offers through contracts and pricing
  • Promote and drive sales of innovative products
  • Understand market trends and the competitive environment
  • Collaborate to register DMFs and Japan local GMP
  • Collaborate with local pharmaceutical teams to deliver the best solutions to customers
  • Identify new business opportunities and customer needs
  • Build and manage sales funnels and customer portfolios
  • Provide market intelligence including market data and competitor information
  • Develop strategic account plans

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, or Chemistry
  • More than 5 years of experience in Business-to-Business sales selling to pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Experience in customer support and carrying out mid-term projects
  • Key account management experience
  • Deep knowledge of pharmaceuticals
  • Good knowledge of excipients, API, and GMP requirements
  • Fluent level English

Preferred requirements:

  • Experience working for a distributor servicing pharmaceutical manufacturers
  • Possess a valid Registered Pharmacist qualification
