"I transitioned from the London and Melbourne offices to the bustling Tokyo office in 2019. Managing the transition posed its challenges, particularly as I had never been to Japan and didn't speak Japanese. Without this internal placement, my settling period would have been far more difficult and significantly altered my overall experience.
