法律顧問/ Legal Counsel

A multinational font technology and design company is looking for an Assistant Legal Counsel. The selected candidate will support contract review, intellectual property rights enforcement, and legal coordination across global teams. This is a hybrid setup and temp-to-perm role.

Responsibilities:

• Negotiate and review domestic and international font license agreements in Japanese and English
• Assist in legal investigations, evidence collection, and infringement claims
• Coordinate responses to potential IP infringers and legal actions as needed
• Draft, negotiate, and review contracts in collaboration with global legal, financial, and sales teams
• Handle inquiries related to intellectual property and support removal request procedures
• Manage the contract approval workflow
• Coordinate with departments including sales, sales operations, and finance

Requirements:

• More than 3 years of proven experience in contract review, sales agreements, or corporate law practice
• Knowledge of intellectual property law, copyright, trademarks, and international contracts
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
