海運営業マネージャー/ Chartering Sales Manager

A foreign shipping company is looking for a Chartering Sales Manager. The selected applicant will focus on maintaining strong relationships with existing clients while identifying and developing new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base
• Negotiate charter party agreements, freight rates, and terms with clients and brokers
• Monitor market trends, vessel availability, and freight rates to provide competitive solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of chartering contracts
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and provide strategic recommendations to the CEO
• Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market developments, and client feedback

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience in chartering sales or a related role within the shipping industry
• Strong understanding of shipping operations, chartering processes, freight markets, and vessel types
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
• Strong analytical skills for market research and strategy development
• Fluent level Japanese; business level English
