外食事業営業マネージャー/ Food Service Sales Manager
An international food manufacturing company is looking for a Food Service Sales Manager. The chosen candidate will be growing the company's food service business by developing relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and food service operators.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of new global and regional projects in Japan, working closely with the Sales Director to drive innovation and diversify product offerings
- Analyse market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify business opportunities and improve sales performance
- Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and end users through regular visits and engagement
- Collaborate with the Marketing team on commercial projects and customer requests to support business growth
- Work closely with the Supply Chain team to ensure product availability and effective inventory management
- Coordinate with global and regional teams to support project rollouts aligned with company strategies and timelines
- Share local successes and best practices with global and regional counterparts
- Support the expansion of the food service product portfolio and the launch of new products
- Identify new business opportunities and drive market penetration through distributor partnerships
- Support commercial initiatives that strengthen customer engagement and increase sales growth
- Contribute to improving profitability within the food service channel
- Maintain strong collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution of business initiatives
Requirements:
- More than 2 years of solution-based sales experience in food service (pastry, bakery, or other professional-use food products is preferred)
- Experience in sales through distributors, wholesalers, and end users (food service operators such as restaurants, hotels, bakeries, etc.)
- Distributor management skills and experience
- Experience in a global business environment
- Ability and willingness to travel
- Business level English
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience working with chefs or professionals in the food industry
- Experience in retail sales or marketing
- Experience in product development and/or co-branding projects
