Sales Director, Japan
A renowned biotechnology company is seeking a Sales Director, Japan. The selected candidate will drive sales strategy, manage key relationships, and expand market presence. This is a remote position.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategy to grow revenue in Japan
- Lead and coach a high-performing sales team
- Identify new business opportunities and acquire new accounts
- Manage relationships with distributors, partners, and major customers
- Analyse market trends and adjust strategies to stay competitive
- Align with global leadership to support business goals
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in sales and business development (food ingredient industry)
- Experience in channel management and key account development (Japanese market)
- knowledge of Japan’s market dynamics, regulatory environment, and customer preferences in the food additives sector
- Understanding of biology is ideal
- Fluent level Japanese and English
