A global financial automation software company is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR). The role is responsible for qualifying leads, driving outbound prospecting activities, and generating qualified opportunities for enterprise clients.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify marketing-generated leads from campaigns, events, website programs, and other channels
- Conduct outbound prospecting to identify and engage target enterprise organisations, focusing on large companies with annual revenues exceeding JPY 400 billion
- Engage in in-depth conversations with prospects to understand business needs and align them with solutions
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets including appointments, qualified leads, and new contacts
- Support and coordinate marketing campaigns as required
- Maintain accurate prospecting activity, data quality, and forecasting in Salesforce and Gong
- Collaborate with the sales team to convert qualified leads into opportunities
Requirements:
- More than 3 years of inside sales or field sales experience in the IT industry with a focus on new business development
- Hands-on experience using cutting-edge sales technologies such as Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Hoopla, ZoomInfo, DiscoverOrg, InsideView, ClearSlide, or Highspot
- Experience in selling to enterprise-level organisations or finance and accounting departments
- Experience using CRM or sales tools such as Salesforce
