事業開発マネージャー/ Business Development Manager

A globally recognised food manufacturing company is looking for a Business Development Manager, Food Service. The selected candidate will drive business growth in Japan through strategic planning, distributor management, and market expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and present annual business plans including sales targets, profit goals, and category strategies
• Monitor sales performance and adjust plans to meet targets based on market conditions
• Manage and guide distributors to ensure strong execution and target achievement
• Lead product launches, inventory planning, compliance, and pricing strategy initiatives
• Plan and execute sales and marketing programs with internal teams and external partners
• Analyse market trends and identify new business channels to drive growth

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above
• More than 10 years of experience in sales and marketing functions
• More than 2 years of work experience from FMCG & food service or HORECA
• Experience related to the Japanese market and understanding of Japan’s culture and its dynamics
• Prior experience in distributor management
• Proven experience working with chefs/restaurant owners and chains

Preferred requirements:

• Skilled in MS Office Suite
• Proficient in written and verbal English and Japanese
