経理マネージャー/ Accounting Manager

An international logistics and supply chain company is looking for an Accounting Manager. The selected candidate will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, cash flow management, tax compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records for legal entities
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, lease accounting, and financial reports under IFRS and local GAAP
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, system processes, and financial data submissions
• Support cash flow forecasting, treasury activities, statutory reporting, tax filings, and tax audits
• Manage local internal controls, documentation, compliance reviews, and remediation actions
• Coordinate internal and external audits, prepare supporting documents, and implement corrective actions

Requirements:

• 5-10 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
• Experience supporting month end and year end closing processes
• Prior experience in balance sheet reconciliation and financial data review
• Proven experience coordinating audits and preparing audit evidence and explanations
• Background in accounting
• Understanding of internal control concepts
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Business level verbal and written Japanese and English

Preferred requirements:

• Knowledge of IFRS and/or JGAAP, USGAAP
