A renowned engineering services company is looking for a Business Development / Account Manager. The selected candidate will drive account growth, strengthen client relationships, and execute strategic sales initiatives across key accounts. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts
  • Understand client needs and propose solutions for mission-critical challenges
  • Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and CRM updates through Salesforce
  • Develop and execute strategic account and sales plans
  • Collaborate with pre-sales teams including Solution Architects and Proposal Writers to manage opportunities
  • Coordinate with internal teams such as Marketing and Operations to execute account strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in engineering, Electronics, or other related technical fields
  • More than 5 years of experience in selling custom automation solutions for manufacturing industry
  • Experience in selling into big accounts
  • Prior experience in consultative technology solution selling capital equipment to OEMs
  • Knowledge of the engineering design and manufacturing processes
  • Familiarity with automation, test & measurement equipment concepts
  • Ability and willingness to travel
  • Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

  • Knowledge of the National Instruments toolset
