シニアPRマネージャー/ Senior PR Manager

An international consumer health products company is seeking a Senior PR Manager to lead corporate communications activities in Japan. The selected candidate will develop and execute PR strategies, manage internal and external communications, lead media and SNS activities, and oversee external PR partners.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute PR initiatives aligned with global PR policy and Japanese market needs
• Drive internal communication initiatives, including executive messages, organisational announcements, and employee events
• Build relationships with journalists and media outlets, coordinate interviews, and draft press releases
• Plan, edit, and manage content for official Japanese SNS accounts in line with global brand standards
• Collaborate with doctors, dentists, researchers, and other professionals on health and science communications
• Deliver consistent messaging across consumer and industrial business areas
• Measure and analyse media, SNS, and internal PR effectiveness to improve communication activities
• Manage external PR agencies and production partners, including budgets and quality

Requirements:

• More than 8 years of experience in internal and external public relations, corporate communications, PR, or brand communication
• Proven experience leading PR projects from planning and stakeholder alignment through execution, measurement, and continuous improvement
• Experience managing corporate or brand social media channels, including content planning, localisation, editorial judgement, and cross-functional collaboration
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience working in both in-house and agency-side PR roles
• Experience engaging with Key Opinion Leaders such as medical professionals, researchers, dental professionals, nutritional experts, or other certified specialists
• Experience in consumer health, research, academic fields, or related domains
