サプライヤー品質エンジニア/ Supplier Quality Engineer

An international manufacturer of packaging products is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer. The successful candidate will manage supplier quality, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with manufacturing and product quality standards. This is a hybrid role.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct supplier qualification audits and monitor performance against quality KPIs
• Drive Supplier Improvement Plans and ensure effective corrective and preventive actions
• Lead root cause analysis for supplier issues and customer complaints to prevent recurrence
• Execute Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and manufacturing validation activities
• Identify supply chain quality risks and lead continuous improvement initiatives using WCM, Six Sigma, and P-FMEA
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on supplier strategy, NPI projects, quality reporting, and technical reviews

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality management, supplier development, quality assurance, or quality control within manufacturing industry
• Experience in supplier audits, PPAP, and corrective action management
• Ability and willingness to travel

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in machining, welding, and fabrication processes
• Prior welding expertise
• Proven experience in multinational environments or consulting
• Knowledge of SAP and quality tools
• Background with PPAP, FMEA, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies (WCM, Six Sigma)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and Power BI
• Understanding of quality management systems and standards
• Possess valid VT Level 2 certification
• Business level English and Japanese (JLPT N1)
