SCMデマンドプランニング/ SCM Demand Planning

A multinational healthcare products company is seeking an SCM Demand Planning professional. The successful candidate will lead demand forecasting, inventory management, supply chain risk mitigation, and indirect procurement support to ensure product availability, operational continuity, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Lead demand forecasting across product categories using sales data, market trends, and business insights
• Coordinate monthly S&OP activities with Sales, Marketing, and Global Supply Chain teams
• Monitor forecast accuracy and support planning for product launches, transitions, and end-of-life management
• Manage inventory levels, replenishment planning, and stock availability to minimise shortages and excess inventory
• Identify supply chain risks, develop mitigation plans, and communicate supply constraints to stakeholders
• Support business continuity planning and coordinate recovery plans for supply disruptions
• Support indirect procurement, including sourcing, purchasing, supplier management, and contract administration
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve procurement issues, and ensure compliance with company policies
• Drive cost optimisation, spend management, and continuous process improvement
• Maintain accurate planning master data in ERP systems and support system enhancements and regional projects

Requirements:

• Experience in managing 3PL providers or outsourced warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes
• Experience in demand planning, forecasting, inventory management, and S&OP processes
• Experience in supply chain management, including logistics and international transportation
• Experience supporting procurement or supplier management activities
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel
• Native level Japanese; business level English

Preferred requirements:

• Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare products, or other regulated industries
